Oceanic Global
The Ocean X Climate Summit at COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt 2022, was an all-day Summit, designed with the intention to immerse global stakeholders in the importance and potential of the ocean within the climate change narrative, and to support multi-stakeholder action for the ocean and all it sustains. Summerhouse partnered with Oceanic Global to produce this inaugural Summit.

We are proud to have partnered with Oceanic Global to help deliver their inaugural The Ocean X Climate Summit at COP27 in Egypt.
The full-day event in Sharm El-Sheikh brought together 275 guests to learn from 50 global speakers, and participate in a host of interactive workshops, immersive events and exhibits.
Elevating the ocean’s visibility in the global climate narrative
Summerhouse worked with the team at Oceanic Global on production management and creative support to deliver this dynamic event seeking to put the ocean front and centre in the global agenda to protect the planet.
As well as the realisation of a comprehensive and immersive programme over the course of this one-day event, it was also the platform for Oceanic Global to launch their Global Ocean X Climate Appeal.

Oceanic Global in partnership with IOC UNESCO, supported by Salesforce
The day-long program featured a diverse group of over 50 global thought leaders including indigenous wisdom keepers, government officials, private sector executives, non-profit sector leaders, youth activists, and United Nations partners.
In addition to thought leadership, the event incorporated immersive musical and artistic performances by Joshua Miller AY Young, and several public launches from participants including short-film premieres by OceanX and Dirt Charity.
